In the NHL playoffs superstars translate to wins and Chicago has proven that in back-back OT wins over the Blues. Game 4 saw Chicago RW Patrick Kane floating down the left side of the ice at 11:17 into overtime before going top shelf on St. Louis goalie Ryan Miller to tie the series at 2. It was deja vu all over again Friday night as Jonathon Toews corralled a puck at center ice and slipped a backhand goal past Miller on a breakaway 7:36 into extra time.

Chicago somehow finds themselves in an opportunity to close out the series at home Sunday despite starting off in an 0-2 hole, mainly from allowing boneheaded goals late in periods. The defending Stanley Cup champs have found a resiliency not evident in the first part of the series, possibly because Toews and Kane were playing their first games back after missing the end of the season with injuries.

St. Louis thought they'd get a boost from David Backes returning after a two-game absence in front of the home-crowd but it was for naught. Now they must go steal a win at the United Center before a raucous Chicago crowd to get a win as +134 underdogs just to force a game 7. The Blackhawks won the first two games at home 2-0 and 4-3 and would love to close out a grueling series that has gone to OT in 3 of the 4 games.
