On Friday night, the Pittsburgh Penguins will take their top-rated offense on the road to face the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Penguins were able to win two out of their three games against the Maple Leafs last season.

On Tuesday, the Penguins had their seven-game winning streak snapped when they were shut out 5-0 by the New York Rangers on the road. They were 0-for-3 on their power play opportunities and they couldn't score despite getting 33 of their shots on goal.

The Penguins have been able to score 3.9 goals per game this season while only giving up 2.3 goals per game. Superstar Sidney Crosby has had a great start to the season by scoring seven goals and assisting on 17 others. Veteran netminder Marc-Andre Fleury is now 9-3-0 with three shutouts and a .924 save percentage.

The Maple Leafs had their most dominant win of the season on Wednesday night when they blew out the Boston Bruins 6-1 at home. They scored on three out of their four power plays in that win and they ended up with a 33-26 shooting advantage.

Through 16 games, the Maple Leafs are in the top three in scoring with 3.3 goals per game. Center Tyler Bozak has had a good start to the season by notching six goals and nine assists. Goalie Jonathan Bernier has made 11 starts for Toronto this year and is 5-3-2 with a 2.58 GAA and a .917 save percentage.
