The Pittsburgh Penguins will go on the road on Monday night to face the New York Rangers, who are currently on a two-game losing streak. Pittsburgh and New York have already played each other twice this season, with both teams picking up a home win.

The Penguins have now won three out of their last four games after beating the Ottawa Senators 3-2 at home on Saturday. Center Evgeni Malkin was their best offensive player in that win, scoring two of their three goals.

Through 26 games, the Penguins have the top power play in the NHL and they have been able to score 3.2 goals per game. Malkin now has a team-high 14 goals on the year and has also provided an assist on 18 more goals. Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury has won 15 of his 20 starts and has a very good .928 save percentage.

On Saturday night, the Rangers lost their second game in a row when the Detroit Red Wings beat them 3-2 on the road. Their power play struggled in that loss, going scoreless even through they had seven opportunities with the extra man.

So far this year, the Rangers have scored 2.9 goals per game, but they have also given up 2.8 goals per game to their opponents. Veteran netminder Henrik Lundqvist has a 9-7-3 record this season with four shutouts, a .905 save percentage and a 2.70 GAA.
