On Tuesday night, the Pittsburgh Penguins will be going up against the Minnesota Wild in a game between two of the top offenses in the NHL. Last season, Pittsburgh and Minnesota played each other twice, with both teams picking up one win.

On Saturday, the Penguins were able to win their fourth consecutive game when they beat the Buffalo Sabres 5-0 at home. They were 3-for-5 on the power play in that win and they outshot the Sabres 34-18.

Through their first 10 games, the Penguins have been able to score 4.1 goals per game while giving up just 2.2 goals per game. Star center Sidney Crosby has scored seven goals this season and he has a team-high 18 points. Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury is 7-2-0 in his nine starts with a solid 1.89 GAA and a .931 save percentage.

The Wild won their third game in a row on Saturday when they defeated the Dallas Stars 4-1 on home ice. They did well on the power play in that game, converting two out of their four chances with the extra man.

The Wild have been able to play excellent defense this season, giving up just 1.8 goals per game to their opponents. Veteran Zach Parise has been their best offensive player by scoring four goals and assisting on six others. Netminder Darcy Kuemper is now 6-2-0 with three shutouts and a .930 save percentage.
