The Pittsburgh Penguins will be visiting the Florida Panthers on Monday night in a game between two of the better defenses in the Eastern Conference. This will be the second meeting between these two teams in the span of three days.

On Saturday night, the Penguins won their third game in a row when they beat these same Panthers 3-1 in Pittsburgh. They didn't score on any of their six power play chances in that win, but they did end up getting 46 of their shots on goal.

In that game on Saturday, the top star was Penguins' goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, who was able to stop 45 of the 46 shots he faced. Florida netminder Roberto Luongo also had a pretty good game in that one by stopping 31 of Pittsburgh's 34 shots. Center Sidney Crosby was the second star in the game after scoring one of his team's three goals.

So far this year, the Penguins have one of the top three offenses in the NHL by scoring over three goals per game against their opponents. Center Evgeni Malkin has had a great start to the season this year by notching 15 goals and 23 assists. Fleury is now 19-4-2 on the season with six shutouts and an excellent 1.97 GAA.

The Panthers have not played well on offense this year, but their defense is one of the top 10 in the Eastern Conference right now. Their top offensive player has been center Nick Bjugstad, who currently leads the team in goals with 12.
