The Pittsburgh Penguins were able to score three goals in just over two minutes in the third period to beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3 on Monday night. The Penguins now have a 2-1 series lead going into Game 4 on Wednesday night.

The Blue Jackets started the game about as well as they could have hoped, scoring just 1:38 into the first period on a Boone Jenner goal. Less than two minutes later, defenseman Jack Johnson put the hosts up 2-0 with his third goal of the series.

The Penguins got one back late in the second period through a Brooks Orpik goal, which was assisted by Beau Bennett and Paul Martin.

The Blue Jackets looked like they were on their way to a win after Cam Atkinson made it 3-1 early in the third period, but then the Penguins found their offensive touch. Brandon Sutter scored his second of the series at the 5:53 mark, then Lee Stempniak was able to tie it up just over a minute later. About a minute after that, Jussi Jokinen scored the eventual game-winner with his second of the series.

Bennett and Martin had two assists apiece for the Penguins, while goalie Marc-Andre Fleury saved 17 of the 20 shots he faced.

Columbus goalie Sergei Bobrovsky took the loss, but he had a solid game in net by making 37 saves.
