The Pittsburgh Penguins were able to take a 3-2 series lead over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday night after beating them 3-1 on home ice.

Columbus' Boone Jenner scored his third goal of the series in the first period on a power-play tally, but that ended up being the only goal the Blue Jackets would score on the night. Chris Kunitz was able to tie the game up seven minutes into the second period with a power-play goal of his own. It took a while for the Penguins to take the lead, but they did so thanks to a Jussi Jokinen goal six minutes into the third period. Defenseman Kris Letang put the Blue Jackets away with an empty-net goal with a second remaining in the game.

Kunitz finished the game with a goal and an assist for the Penguins, while Sidney Crosby and Craig Adams pitched in with an assist apiece in the win. Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury had his best game of the series by stopping 23 of the 24 shots he faced for a .958 save percentage.

Even though the Blue Jackets lost the game, the best player on the ice was probably their goalie, Sergei Bobrovsky. He kept the game from getting out of hand on numerous occasions and ended up with 48 saves and a .960 save percentage for the visitors.
