Almost midway through March, the Boston Bruins are what you would call hot. With a healthy group of thirteen forwards and eight defensemen, the Bruins don't show any signs of slowing down.

Recently pulling down the 1st place spot in the Eastern Conference, it may look like Thursdays game against the Phoenix Coyotes could be a walk in the park. But with the Coyotes holding onto 9th place in the Western Conference, they have a lot to play for. The Coyotes are two points behind Dallas for a Wild Card spot, but playing away from home has not been the Coyotes strong suit. As of Monday, the Coyotes have lost 10 of 11 away games with three more left before they get a break: Tampa Bay, Florida and then finishing off in Boston.

The Bruins on the other hand are sitting pretty, with back-up goalie Chad Johnson in the net, he has been more than enough to stop the competition. As of Monday he has won seven times in his past nine starts, taking himself to 13-3-1 in what is now the best season of his career and taking the Bruins to their best win streak of the year at five.

The Coyotes goaltending has had its struggles, though Mike Smith ended his chance for a third shutout in eight games on Saturday.
