The Flyers and Rangers are looking more and more like a full 7-game series after each team split on their home ice to leave the series knotted at 2-2 heading back to New York Sunday. New York has been dominant in their two wins, knotting 4-1 blowouts in games 1 and 3. The Flyers sandwiched hard fought 2-1 and 4-2 wins in between but remain tied up nonetheless.

The 2-2 series is a common theme for the two teams as that was also their regular season matchup with both teams winning two on their home ice. In the playoffs things get ratcheted up a bit though and the Flyers were able to avoid a 1-3 deficit by scoring two straight goals in game 4 and stave off any scoring in the third for a 2-1 win. Oddsmakers considered the last game a toss-up as they had Philly listed at -103 and the Rangers at -105.

The biggest upset in the series came in game 2 with the Flyers winning 4-2 in New York to cash in a +146 ticket. The early line for game 5 would predicate a Rangers win as they're listed at -150 but the Flyers would love nothing more than to get a win going away, with hopes of closing out the series on Tuesday at home. The Flyers will probably go with Steve Mason in goal from here on out as he returns from injury and replaces the mostly ineffective Ray Emery.
