The Philadelphia Flyers will head out on the road on Tuesday night to face the Columbus Blue Jackets in a game between two of the top 10 power plays in the NHL. These two teams have already played each other twice this year, with the Flyers winning both of them.

The Flyers were able to end their long losing streak on Saturday night when they beat the Los Angeles Kings 2-1 on the road. They only had 16 shots on goal in that win, but their penalty kill did a great job to hold the Kings scoreless on their five power play opportunities.

Through 26 games, the Flyers have one of the worst penalty kills in the NHL by allowing opposing power plays to score 24.2 percent of the time against them. Center Claude Giroux has notched eight goals and 21 assists so far this season, while right wing Jakub Voracek leads the team in points with 33.

On Saturday night, the Blue Jackets won their third straight game by defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-1 on the road. They won that game despite being outshot 34-20 by the Lightning.

The Blue Jackets are only averaging 2.3 goals per game this year while giving up 3.3 goals per game. Goalie Sergei Bobrovsky has won eight out of his 17 starts and now has a 2.77 GAA with a .917 save percentage.
