The Philadelphia Flyers will be going on the road on Monday night to take on the Arizona Coyotes in a game between two of the worst penalty kills in the league. The Flyers and the Coyotes split their two-game series against each other last season.

On Saturday night, the Flyers had their three-game winning streak snapped when the Nashville Predators defeated them 4-1 on the road. They ended up being outshot 38-27 in that loss and were goalless on their four power play opportunities.

The Flyers are in the top half of the league in scoring this season, but they have also allowed their opponents to score nearly three goals per game against them. Right wing Jakub Voracek has been their best offensive player by notching 14 goals and 32 assists in 35 games. Netminder Steve Mason is just 6-10-5 on the year with one shutout and a .921 save percentage.

The Coyotes were able to win their second straight game on Saturday night when they defeated the Anaheim Ducks 2-1 in the shootout. Goalie Devan Dubnyk had one of his best games of the season by stopping 35 of the shots that came his way.

Right now, the Coyotes are near the bottom of the Western Conference in scoring, goals against and penalty kill percentage. Defenseman Keith Yandle has been their top all-around player by notching four goals and a team-high 19 assists in 35 games. Netminder Mike Smith has a 5-15-2 record this year with no shutouts and a high 3.48 GAA.
