On Tuesday night, the Ottawa Senators will go on the road to take on the Vancouver Canucks, who are 4-2-0 on home ice this season. The Senators and the Canucks split their two-game regular season series last year.

In their last game, the Senators gave up three third-period goals to the Toronto Maple Leafs and ended up losing 5-3 on home ice. Backup goalie Robin Lehner struggled in that loss, giving up five goals on 30 shots faced.

The Senators have been solid with the extra man, scoring on 21.8 percent of their power play chances. Defenseman Erik Karlsson has four goals and 11 points through 14 games, while left wing Clarke MacArthur leads the team in goals with seven. Netminder Craig Anderson is 4-2-2 with a 1.72 GAA and a very good .951 save percentage.

The Canucks played in a tight game against the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday and ended up coming away with a 2-1 win in the shootout. Backup netminder Frederik Andersen was excellent in that game, finishing with a .971 save percentage.

So far this season, the Canucks are near the top of the league in killing penalties by stopping 86.2 percent of opposing teams' power play opportunities. Vancouver center Nick Bonino has scored seven goals and accumulated 13 points in 16 games. Goalie Ryan Miller is 10-2-0 on the season with a 2.42 GAA and a .913 save percentage.
