The New York Rangers aim to strengthen their impressive 2013/14 road record as they head out on a 4-game stretch away from Madison Square Garden. As one would expect from a team soon to be mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, Calgary has been nothing more than mediocre on their home ice. That being said, the Flames have played rather impressively in the last two weeks and aim to close out their disappointing year with dignity.

Those two victories put Calgary's record at 5-2 against the spread in their last 7 so the Flames have been hot for bettors recently.

The Flames and Rangers had to settle things in a shootout the last time they met on December 15th. The teams combined for 3 goals in the first and entered the 3rd period tied at 2-2. After trading goals in the 3rd and going scoreless in OT the Rangers finally pulled out a 4-3 shootout win to cash in on the -185 moneyline.
