On Tuesday night, the top-scoring New Jersey Devils will go on the road to take on the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Devils were able to beat the Lightning in two of their three matchups last season and outscored them 5-4 in the season series. New Jersey won the first two games by a combined score of 5-1, but Tampa Bay did get the last laugh by beating them 3-0 late in the season.

Lightning right wing Martin St. Louis seems to like facing the Devils as he has 19 goals and 27 assists in 51 games against them. Goaltender Ben Bishop has made five starts against New Jersey in his career and is 3-2-0 against them with a solid .958 save percentage and a 1.17 GAA.

The Devils scored four goals in the first period of their game against the Florida Panthers on Saturday and easily came away with a 5-1 victory. They were outshot 29-24 in the game, but they were also 2-for-5 on their power play chances.

The Devils have scored 11 goals through their first two games and they are 10th in the league with a power play percentage of 25 percent. Left wing Mike Cammalleri is currently tied for second in the league with three goals scored. Netminder Cory Schneider is now 2-0-0 with a .926 save percentage and a 2.50 GAA.
