On Monday night, the New Jersey Devils will go on the road to take on the Boston Bruins, who have won their last four games. The Devils and the Bruins played each other three times a season ago, with Boston winning two of those games.

The Devils lost their third straight game last Friday when they were beaten 4-2 by the Detroit Red Wings on the road. They were only able to get 17 shots on goal in that loss, and their penalty kill allowed the Red Wings to score twice on the power play.

Through 14 games, the Devils have the worst penalty kill percentage in the NHL. Left wing Mike Cammalleri has only played in eight games, but he still leads the team in goals with five.

Last Thursday, the Bruins played well on both sides of the ice and were able to beat the Edmonton Oilers 5-2 at home. They outshot the Oilers 32-26 in that win and they were able to score on two of their four power play opportunities.

The Bruins are in the top ten in the league in power play percentage by converting 22 percent of their chances with the extra man. Center Carl Soderberg has started the season well by accumulating four goals and eight assists in 15 games. Netminder Tuukka Rask has a 7-4-0 record with a .907 save percentage and a 2.48 GAA.
