Less than two weeks ago, the Dallas Stars were able to annihilate the Nashville Predators 7-3 on home ice. Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin are usually the ones who do most of the scoring for Dallas, but in that game seven other Stars were able to step up and hit the back of the net.

Dallas was able to get off to a great start by scoring two goals in the first period. Ryan Garbutt scored the first one eight minutes into the game off of assists from Antoine Roussel and Brenden Dillon. Vernon Fiddler scored the Stars' second of the game about six minutes later.

Nashville got the first tally of the second period after Patric Hornqvist got his 15th of the season at the 2:53 mark. Dallas quickly answered, though, through a Colton Sceviour goal. Alex Chiasson made it 4-1 when he scored a power-play goal nine minutes into the period. Michael Del Zotto got the Predators back to within two a minute later, but Trevor Daley put Dallas back up by three with the final goal of the period.

After Eric Nystrom gave Nashville some hope early in the third with his 15th of the season, Valeri Nichushkin and Cody Eakin scored the Stars' sixth and seventh goals to put the Predators away for good.

Stars defenseman Alex Goligoski had four assists for the hosts, while goalie Kari Lehtonen had 25 saves in the win.
