The Buffalo Sabres and Nashville Predators haven't met up since Dec. 3 of 2011. In that game, the Sabres were winners by a score of 3-2. Ryan Miller was making a return off injured reserve from a concussion. He came back strong in this game and stopped 32 shots in the Sabres win over the Predators. He had help from a strong first period for the Sabres. Luke Adam started the scoring off with a goal at the 10 minute mark of the first period on an assist from Ville Leino and Christian Ehrhoff. That was followed up by a Zack Kassian goal at the 17:27 mark.
Both goalies were strong in the second and no goals were allowed. However, Craig Smith got Nashville on the board in the third. Tyler Ennis followed that goal up with one of his own to get the lead back to two goals. Finally, David Legwand scored for the Predators at the 18:25 mark but that was all that Miller would concede.

Nashville
Nashville has no key injuries to report
In their three matchups since 2009, Buffalo is 2-1 against Nashville. The home team lost all three of these games.
Nashville will be looking to get in the win column as they have been playing poorly over the last month. Currently they are 3-7 over their last 10 games. They were favored in only two of those games over the last month.
Meanwhile, Buffalo hasn't exactly been playing great hockey either. They are on a two game losing streak and are 4-6 over their last 10 games. They are 3-3 when playing at home over those last 10. They were underdogs in each of their last 10 games.
This game will be a matchup of two bottom dwelling teams.
