The Montreal Canadiens and the Tampa Bay Lightning will certainly remember the last time they faced each other. The Lightning were able to win the game 2-1 in overtime, but the most memorable part of the game happened in the second period when Lightning goalie Ben Bishop got into a short fight with Canadiens' right wing Brandon Prust.

Prust came up to Bishop in his net, said some words that Bishop didn't like, and the two got a few punches in before the refs stepped in to separate them. There were multiple penalties given out to other players who started to fight. For the rest of the game, the Montreal fans booed Bishop every time he touched the puck. Nate Thompson scored both of the goals for the Lightning. The first goal was a shorthanded tally five minutes into the second period. The second was the game-winner, which he made with less than 30 seconds left on the clock in overtime.

Daniel Briere scored in the second period for Montreal's only goal. It was his ninth of the season and came off of a Brian Gionta assist.

Bishop had a great game as well, stopping 28 of the Canadiens' 29 shots on goal. Montreal goalie Carey Price also had a solid game, saving 34 of 36 shots against. Price was penalized during that memorable second period for trying to skate over to fight Bishop.
