The Montreal Canadiens will go on the road on Sunday night to take on the New York Rangers, who have won just one of their last four games.

Earlier this season, the Canadiens were able to defeat the Rangers 3-1 at home in their first of three games against each other. Goalie Carey Price was excellent in that win by stopping 34 of the 35 shots he faced.

Price has now faced the Rangers 16 times in his career, going 9-5-1 against them with five shutouts, a .937 save percentage and a 1.99 GAA. Montreal left wing Max Pacioretty has five goals and four assists in 18 games against New York, while Tomas Plekanec has been able to rack up 25 points in 34 games against them.

On Wednesday night, the Rangers ended their three-game losing streak when they shut out the Philadelphia Flyers 2-0 at home. Backup goalie Cam Talbot was key in the win, stopping 31 shots for his first win and shutout of the season.

The Rangers have struggled on the power play so far this season, scoring on just 16.1 percent of their chances with the extra man. Veteran winger Martin St. Louis has had a pretty good start to the season by scoring seven goals and assisting on eight others. Starting goalie Henrik Lundqvist is 7-5-3 this season with three shutouts and a .910 save percentage.
