The Montreal Canadiens will look to keep their hot streak going on Tuesday when they visit the New York Islanders. Last season, the Canadiens found a way to win two out of their three games against the Islanders.

The Canadiens have now won four out of their last five games after defeating the Ottawa Senators 4-1 at home on Saturday night. Goalie Carey Price was solid in that game, stopping 24 of the 25 shots that came his way.

Through 34 games this season, the Canadiens have one of the top penalty kills in the league by stopping opposing power plays 86.1 percent of the time. Price is now 18-9-1 on the season with two shutouts and a solid 2.27 GAA. Left wing Max Pacioretty has been Montreal's top offensive player this year by notching 13 goals and 14 assists.

On Saturday night, the Islanders won their fourth consecutive game when they beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-1 at home. They were very clearly the more prepared team in that game, finishing with a huge 48-21 shooting advantage.

So far this year, the Islanders are near the top of the NHL in scoring with three goals per game. All-Star center John Tavares has a team-high 13 goals with 15 assists through 33 games this season, while right wing Kyle Okposo leads the team in assists with 21.
