The Montreal Canadiens will head out on the road on Saturday night to face the Dallas Stars, who are currently on a four-game losing streak.

Last season, the Canadiens defeated the Stars in both of their regular season games against each other. The more impressive win of the two was in their second meeting in January, when they went to Dallas and beat them 6-4.

Canadiens goalie Carey Price has faced Dallas seven times in his career, going 4-3-0 with an .895 save percentage and a 3.01 GAA. Left wing Max Pacioretty has two goals and two assists in his five games against the Stars, while Tomas Plekanec has only been able to notch one point from his seven games against them.

On Thursday night, the Stars gave up three first-period goals to the Detroit Red Wings and were routed 5-2 on the road. The Stars did score on one of their three power plays, but they also ended up being outshot 29-24.

Dallas has had one of the very worst defenses in the NHL this year by allowing their opponents to score 3.6 goals per game against them. Center Tyler Seguin has been one of the best players in the league this season by notching 19 goals and 13 assists in his team's first 26 games. Goaltender Kari Lehtonen is now 9-6-5 with a shutout and a .903 save percentage.
