On Wednesday night, the Montreal Canadiens will go on the road to face the Buffalo Sabres, who have lost three out of their last four games.

On Sunday, the Sabres snapped their three-game losing streak by beating the Detroit Red Wings 3-2 in the shutout. They won despite being outshot 38-21 and going 0-for-4 on the power play in that game. They were physical in that win, through, outhitting the Red Wings 14-7.

The Sabres currently have the lowest-scoring team in the NHL by scoring just 1.1 goals per game. Their best offensive player has been left wing Tyler Ennis, who has four goals and two assists in 13 games. Goalie Jhonas Enroth has made eight starts and is just 1-6-1 with a 3.34 GAA and a .908 save percentage.
