The Minnesota Wild will be playing their final game of a three-game road trip when they go up against the Florida Panthers on Monday. Last season, the Wild and the Panthers split their two-game regular season series.

On Saturday night, the Wild had their four-game win streak come to an end when they were beaten 2-1 by the Tampa Bay Lightning on the road. They did fail to score on their three power play opportunities, but they did outshoot the Lightning 31-28.

Through 19 games, the Wild are in the top 10 in the league in both goals per game and goals against per game. Their best player has been left wing Zach Parise, who has seven goals and leads the Wild in points with 13. Goaltender Darcy Kuemper has a 9-6-0 record this season with three shutouts and a 2.03 GAA.

The Panthers were able to come back late in their game against the Nashville Predators on Saturday night, but they ended up losing 3-2 in the shootout. Their defense struggled in that loss, allowing the Predators to get 50 of their shots on goal.

So far this season, the Panthers have had one of the bottom five offenses in the league by scoring just over two goals per game. Goalie Roberto Luongo has had a pretty good start to the season with a 6-4-5 record and a .926 save percentage. Left wing Jussi Jokinen has only scored two goals this season, but he does lead the team in points with 12.
