The Minnesota Wild will be going on the road on Wednesday night to take on the Columbus Blue Jackets, who have lost just two games this month. The Blues Jackets found a way to win both of their games against the Wild last season.

The Wild were able to snap their five-game winning streak on Monday night when they beat the Winnipeg Jets 3-2 on the road. They didn't score on the power play in the win, but they did finish the game with a 31-30 shooting advantage.

Through 34 games this season, the Wild have one of the best penalty kill percentages in the NHL, but they are also near the bottom of the league in power play percentage. Goalie Darcy Kuemper has a 12-10-0 record this year with three shutouts and a .903 save percentage.

Last Saturday, the Blue Jackets scored four second-period goals against the Boston Bruins and came away with a 6-2 home win. They were 1-for-2 on the power play in that game and ended up outshooting the Bruins 30-28.

Through 34 games, the Blue Jackets are near the bottom of the league in goals per game, but they are in the top five in power play percentage. Left wing Nick Foligno has been their top offensive threat by notching 17 goals and 14 assists. Netminder Sergei Bobrovsky is now 13-9-2 on the year with one shutout, a 2.69 GAA and a .919 save percentage.
