On Friday night, the Minnesota Wild will face the Anaheim Ducks in a game that will feature two solid offenses. The Ducks were able to beat the Wild in two out of their three meetings last season.

The Wild played the Colorado Avalanche last weekend and were able to come away with a 3-0 shutout on the road. They scored one goal in each period of that game and ended up outshooting Colorado 34-30.

Through two games, the Wild have yet to give up a goal and they are fourth in the NHL with four goals scored per game. Left wing Zach Parise has scored on two goals and assisted on two others already, while defenseman Ryan Suter has a goal and two assists. Netminder Darcy Kuemper is 2-0-0 with 46 saves and two shutouts.

On Tuesday night, the Ducks gave up a game-tying goal late in the third period to the Philadelphia Flyers, but they did end up beating them 4-3 in the shootout. It was a very physical game, with Anaheim outhitting Philadelphia 43-30 on the night.

The Ducks have won three out of their four games despite only having a 76.9 penalty kill percentage. Right wing Corey Perry has four goals and two assists already, while center Ryan Getzlaf leads the team with four assists. Goalie Frederik Andersen is 3-0-0 with a 1.95 GAA and a .928 save percentage.
