Tuesday night, the puck will drop at the Wells Fargo Center as the Los Angeles Kings visit the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Los Angeles Kings fell behind early in their Sunday afternoon game against the Columbus Blue Jackets but they finished strong.  Behind scoring in the 2nd and 3rd periods, the Kings took a 5 - 2 victory over the Blue Jackets.  Columbus took the 1 – 0 lead in the 1st but that was the last lead they would have.  Los Angeles scored 3 straight goals in the 2nd to go up 3 -1. And after Columbus cut the lead to 3 – 2 at the end of the 2nd, the Kings added 2 more in the 3rd to secure the win.  The defending Stanley Cup Champions won all 6 games of their homestand and will look to extend their winning streak as they start a 5 game road swing in Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Flyers are starting to climb back to respectability after a horrible start to the year.  They come into this one after a 4 -2 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday night.  The Red Wings led 1 - 0 after the 1st and it wasn’t until 18:21 of the 2nd that Niklas Grossmann tied it up.  In the 3rd, the Flyers got 2 goals from Michael Raffl and one from Brayden Schenn as they pulled away.  But the Flyers still have a long way to go.  They were outshot 37 -17 and they aren’t going to win many games when that happens. Especially against a Kings team that seems unstoppable.
