The Chicago Blackhawks were able to make a third period comeback in their Game 6 matchup with the Los Angeles Kings on Friday and won the game 4-3 to tie the series up at three wins apiece. The Kings put more shots on goal in the game and outhit the Blackhawks, but Chicago just got slightly better goaltending in the game to help them get the crucial victory.

Kings left wing Dwight King scored the lone goal of the first period with his second of the playoffs. The Blackhawks responded in the second period, though, through a Patrick Kane power-play goal and a Ben Smith tally, which was assisted by Patrick Sharp and Brent Seabrook.

Defenseman Drew Doughty scored his fourth goal of the playoffs five and a half minute into the third period to tie the game up. Two minutes later, the Kings would retake the lead when Alec Martinez scored a power-play goal. Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith scored for the visitors at the 11:34 mark, then Kane scored the eventual game-winner a few minutes later with his eighth of the postseason.

Kane was the top player on the ice on the night with his two goals and one assist, while Seabrook had two assists in the win. Goalie Corey Crawford saved 26 of the 29 shots he faced in the game for an .897 save percentage.
