On Friday, the Florida Panthers will travel to Detroit to take on the Red Wings. The Red Wings are led in scoring by Henrik Zetterberg, with 20 assists and 5 goals. Detroit’s Jimmy Howard has been solid between the pipes with a 13-5-5 record and 2.15 goals against average.

For Florida, they saw the Blues score two late goals to pick up the home win. The Panthers received goals from Nick Bjugstad and Aaron Ekblad to tie the game. Florida’s goaltender Roberto Luongo turned away 24 shots in the loss. On the season, Luongo is allowing more than 2.3 goals per game. The Panthers are 27th in all of the NHL in scoring, with just 2.2 goals per game. The Panthers are also 23rd on the power play; converting on just shy of 15% of them.
