The Florida Panthers, who have won their last two games, will be going on the road on Monday night to face the Columbus Blue Jackets. Last season, the Blue Jackets were able to win all three of their games against the Panthers.

On Friday night, the Panthers scored two goals in the third period of their game against the Ottawa Senators to come away with a 3-2 comeback victory. They clearly had the better offensive approach in that win, outshooting the Senators 46-24.

The Panthers have a winning record right now despite only scoring 2.1 goals per game through 21 games. Center Nick Bjugstad has a team-high eight goals on the season and is tied for the team lead in points with 12. Netminder Roberto Luongo has a 7-5-5 record through 17 starts with one shutout, a .927 save percentage and a 2.33 GAA.

The Blue Jackets lost their sixth consecutive game on Saturday night when they Nashville Predators defeated them 2-1 on the road. They were 1-for-4 on the power play in that loss, and they were only able to get 22 of their shots on goal.

The Blue Jackets have had one of the worst defenses in the league so far this season, allowing over 3.5 goals per game. Left wing Nick Foligno has a team-high 10 goals this season and he is second on the team with 22 points.
