The Florida Panthers will be hoping that their offense can finally break out on Saturday night when they face the Arizona Coyotes, whose defense has been one of the worst in the league. The Coyotes were able to beat the Panthers in both of their meetings last season.

In the Panthers' last game, they gave up three second-period goals to the Colorado Avalanche, but they were still able to pull off a 4-3 overtime win. Brad Boyes was their top player in that win, scoring a goal and assisting on another.

Florida is currently 29th in the NHL in scoring with just 1.5 goals scored per game. Boyes has been their best offensive threat with his two goals and team-leading four points. Defenseman Dylan Olsen leads the team in points with three. Veteran goaltender Roberto Luongo has a 2-2-1 record in five starts with a 2.72 GAA and a .906 save percentage.

The Coyotes lost for the third game in a row on Thursday when the Minnesota Wild beat them 2-0 on the road. They were 0-for-3 on their power play chances and they misses on all 29 of their shots.

The Coyotes still have one of the best power play units in the league, but their defense has been one of the worst. Left wing Mikkel Boedker has scored a team-leading six goals this season and he has a plus/minus of +2.
