On Tuesday, the Edmonton Oilers will be playing their fifth road game in a row when they go up against the Nashville Predators. The Predators were able to beat the Oilers 4-1 on the road in late October.

The Oilers have now won two games in a row after beating the New York Rangers 3-1 at home on Sunday. In that game, they played very well on the defensive end and were able to hold the Rangers to just 21 shots on goal.

Opposing teams have found it easy to score against the Oilers this season, averaging 3.3 goals per game against them. Edmonton's top offensive player has been Taylor Hall, who has six goals and four assists in just 11 games. Netminder Ben Scrivens has a 4-6-0 record with one shutout and a 3.11 GAA.

On Saturday, the Predators won their second straight game when they beat the St. Louis Blues 2-1 on the road. Goalie Pekka Rinne was excellent in that win by stopping 28 of the 29 shots he faced.

The Predators are only scoring 2.4 goals per game this season, but their defense has done well to hold opponents to 1.9 goals per game. Center Filip Forsberg has 15 points through 14 games with a plus/minus of +15. Rinne now has a 9-2-1 record this season with a 1.81 GAA and a .935 save percentage.
