On Tuesday, the Edmonton Oilers will be hoping that they can finally end their seven-game road losing streak when they play the Arizona Coyotes. These two teams have already played each other three times this season, with the Coyotes coming away as the victors in all three meetings.

The Oilers lost their fourth consecutive game on Sunday night when they were shut out 2-0 by the New York Rangers at home. Their offensive struggles continued in that loss as they were only able to put 16 shots on goal.

Through 31 games, the Oilers are near the bottom of the league in most statistical categories, including goals for and goals against. Goalie Ben Scrivens has a 5-11-3 record on the year with one shutout and an .890 save percentage.

On Saturday, the Coyotes lost their fifth consecutive game when the Minnesota Wild came back and beat them 4-3 in the shootout. Their penalty kill was poor in that loss, allowing the Wild to score on two of their three chances with the extra man.

The Coyotes have only been able to average 2.3 goals per game this year while allowing opposing offenses to score 3.2 goals per game against them. Their top goal scorer has been Mikkel Boedker, who has nine goals and 11 assists in 30 games. Goalie Mike Smith has only been able to win five games this season and has a low .889 save percentage right now.
