The last place Edmonton Oilers don't win many games, but when they do, they usually rely on a great game from goalie Ben Scrivens. That was the case the last time they played the Anaheim Ducks, a game they won 4-3 in overtime less than a week ago.

Anaheim's Nick Bonino put the Ducks on the board first just 35 seconds into the game. Four minutes later, the Oilers would tie it up thanks to a Sam Gagner backhanded shot, which came off of a pass from David Perron.

Jordan Eberle would get the next goal of the game, scoring his 24th 10 minutes into the second period. Five minutes later, though, Patrick Maroon would tie it back up off of an assist from Mathieu Perreault.

The Oilers' rookie defenseman Oscar Klefbom would get his first goal of the season to make it 3-2 in the third, but Perreault would answer for the Ducks with five minutes to go in regulation.

It took nearly four minutes of overtime, but the Oilers came up with the win on a goal by Andrew Ference. Edmonton's captain took a slap shot from just past the blue line to score the winner.

Despite giving up three goals, Ben Scrivens had one of the best games of his career in this one. He made 48 saves and was able to keep his team in the game throughout.
