In a game that will feature two of the highest-scoring offenses in the league, the Dallas Stars will be visiting the New York Islanders on Saturday night.

Last season, the Islanders were able to win both of their games against the Stars by a combined score of 11-5. They beat Dallas 7-3 on the road in early August, and then they won 4-2 at home later in the season.

Stars All-Star Jamie Benn has played in six games against the Islanders and has three goals and two assists against them. Center Tyler Seguin has five goals and 11 points in his 11 games against the Islanders. Veteran goalie Kari Lehtonen is 8-7-0 against them with a .916 save percentage and a 2.33 GAA.

The Islanders used a two-goal second period to propel them to a 3-2 win over the Boston Bruins on Thursday night. They committed just one penalty in that game and they outshot Boston 38-32.

The Islanders are one of the best scoring teams in the league right now, but they are one of the worst at killing penalties. Center John Tavares has three goals on the season and he leads the team in points with 11. Brock Nelson is the team leader in goals with four. Netminder Jaroslav Halak has made five starts this year and has a 3.38 GAA with an .898 save percentage.
