On Saturday night, the Dallas Stars will try to add another win to their 5-4-0 road record when they visit the Colorado Avalanche.

During the 2013-14 season, the Avalanche were able to win four out of their five games against the Stars, including two in Dallas. It was a one-sided series, but four out of the five games were decided by just one goal.

Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen has gone 8-5-2 against the Avs in his career with a .909 save percentage and a 2.84 GAA. Center Tyler Seguin has four goals and four assists in seven games against Colorado in his career, while left wing Jamie Benn has accumulated 18 points in his 20 games against them.

On Wednesday, the Avalanche had their two-game winning streak come to an end when the Chicago Blackhawks beat them 3-2. The Avs were 0-for-2 on the power play in that loss while also being outshot 45-29.

The Avs have only been able to score 2.5 goals per game this season while allowing their opponents to score 3.1 goals per game. Their best offensive player has been center Nathan MacKinnon, who has scored five goals and has a team-high 17 points through 23 games. Matt Duchene and Alex Tanguay are currently tied for the team lead in goals with seven apiece. Goalie Semyon Varlamov has a 4-5-4 record so far this season with a 2.95 GAA and one shutout.
