Sunday night, the Dallas Stars will take the ice at the United Center as they take on the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Dallas Stars will journey to Chicago after playing the Minnesota Wild at home on Saturday afternoon. Dallas has been in the midst of a rough string of games but the ice on the road has been better to them than the ice at home has. That will be a good thing for them as they take on Chicago, a team that has been up and down in recent games. If Dallas can find a way to come into Chicago less fatigued than expected, they should be able to give the Blackhawks a challenge and possibly come away with a win.

The Chicago Blackhawks didn't look that great in their Friday night game against the Detroit Red Wings. After a solid start, the Blackhawks faded down the stretch and fell 4 - 1 to Detroit. Detroit took the early lead but Patrick Kane evened things up midway through the 1st period with a power play goal. Unfortunately, the Blackhawks didn't light the lamp any more in the game as the Red Wings pulled away with 2 goals in the 2^nd and a goal in the 3^rd. Chicago shutout the Red Wings on their 3 power play opportunities and their league leading penalty killing unit should be able to handle a weak Dallas power play unit. If the Blackhawks want a win in this one, they will have to find a way for their offense to rise up to meet their solid defense.
