The Columbus Blue Jackets will be going on the road on Saturday night to face the Tampa Bay Lightning in a game that will feature two of the better power plays in the league. In their first game against each other this season, the Lightning came away with a 7-4 victory over the Kings.

The Blue Jackets won their second game in a row on Thursday when they were able to defeat the Florida Panthers 4-3 in the shootout. Center Nick Bjugstad was excellent in that win, scoring two goals and providing an assist on another. Goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky has won seven of his 16 starts and has a .914 save percentage.

Through their first 25 games of the year, the Blue Jackets are near the bottom of the league in goals against by giving up 3.4 goals per game. Center Ryan Johansen has been their most consistent player by notching nine goals and 16 assists.

The Lightning played one of their most complete games of the season on Thursday night by blowing out the Buffalo Sabres 5-0 on home ice. They were dominant on both ends of the ice in that win, finishing with a 35-13 shooting advantage.

So far this year, the Lightning have had the top offense in the NHL by averaging 3.6 goals per game against their opponents. Netminder Ben Bishop has an excellent 16-3-2 record on the season with one shutout, a 2.20 GAA and a .919 save percentage.
