The Columbus Blue Jackets, who are just 3-5-1 on the road this season, will be visiting the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday night.

The Blue Jackets and the Flyers played each other for the first time this season last Friday, with the Blue Jackets coming away with a 4-3 road win. Columbus defenseman James Wisniewski was the start of the game, scoring two goals on the win.

Wisniewski has now played against the Flyers 11 times in his career, notching three goals and five assists. Blue Jackets center Ryan Johansen has two goals and four assists against Philadelphia in six games, while goalie Sergei Bobrovsky is 2-0-0 against them with a .969 save percentage and a 1.00 GAA.

On Thursday night, the Flyers gave up two third period goals to the Minnesota Wild and lost 3-2 on home ice. They were certainly had the more aggressive offense, outshooting the Wild 39-29 in the losing effort.

The Flyers are in the top 10 in the league right now in both scoring and power play percentage. Netminder Steve Mason is just 3-6-1 on the year with a .914 save percentage and a 2.94 GAA. Their best offensive player has been right wing Jakub Voracek, who has seven goals and 20 assists through 18 games. Center Claude Giroux has also played well through 18 games by notching six goals and 16 assists.
