Friday night, the Columbus Blue Jackets will travel to the Wells Fargo Center to take to the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Columbus Blue Jackets will come into this one after taking yet another loss on Tuesday night. Columbus fell 4 - 2 in that game to the Washington Capitals. Things started and ended badly for the Blue Jackets in that one. The Caps jumped out to an early 2 -0 lead and even after the Blue Jackets scored to cut the deficit to 2 -1, Washington added another goal to make it a 3 -1 game after one period. Towards the end of the 2^nd, Columbus made it a one goal once again. But the Capitals sealed the victory with the only goal of the 3^rd period. Columbus hasn't won a game since late October and their chances don't look too good in this one either.

The Philadelphia Flyers will be well rested as they take the ice in this one. Their last game was nearly a week ago. In that one, they beat the Colorado Avalanche 4 -3 for their 3^rd straight win. But getting the "W" wasn't as easy as it should have been for the Flyers. After a late 1^st quarter goal put them up 1 -0 going into the 2^nd, Philadelphia reeled off 3 straight goals to take a 4 -0 lead going into the final period. But the Flyers gave up 3 goals in the final period and barely escaped with the win. Columbus doesn't score often and Philadelphia shouldn't expect much resistance from them.
