On Sunday night, the Chicago Blackhawks will be playing their second game in two days when they take on the Vancouver Canucks, who have lost three consecutive home games.

During the 2013-14 season, the Blackhawks won two out of their three meetings with the Canucks. Chicago won the first game of that three-game series 5-2, but the other two games were close and were decided by just one goal.

Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford has faced the Canucks nine times in his career, going 5-2-2 against them with a solid .931 save percentage and a 2.26 GAA. Center Jonathan Toews has six goals and 11 assists in 25 games against Vancouver, while Patrick Kane has notched 21 points in his 26 games against them.

On Thursday night, the Canucks allowed the Anaheim Ducks to score a late third-period goal and then went on to lose 4-3 in the shootout. They only had one power play opportunity in that loss, but they did outshoot the Ducks 28-26.

Through 20 games, the Canucks are in the top 10 in the league in scoring with 2.9 goals scored per game. Daniel Sedin and Henrik Sedin are tied for the team lead in points with 20, while right wing Radim Vrbata has a team-high nine goals. Veteran goalie Ryan Miller has a 12-3-0 record through 165 starts with a shutout, a 2.74 GAA and a .900 save percentage.
