The Chicago Blackhawks will be going on the road on Saturday night to take on the Los Angeles Kings, who have lost two out of their last three games.

Last season, the Blackhawks were able to win all three of their games against the Kings. They picked up two two-goal wins in that series, and the other win was a 1-0 shutout in Chicago.

Blackhawks left wing Patrick Kane has faced the Kings 25 times in his career, notching seven goals and 17 assists in those games. Veteran winger Marian Hossa has 11 goals and seven assists in 28 games against Los Angeles, while goaltender Corey Crawford has won six of his nine games against them while saving 90.6 percent of the shots he's faced.

On Wednesday night, the Kings scored four goals in the first period against the Minnesota Wild and came away with a 4-0 shutout win. Backup goalie Martin Jones had his best game of the season so far by stopping all 28 of the shots that came his way.

The Kings haven't had the easiest time scoring this season but they are in the top five in goals against by only allowing 2.2 goals per game. Center Tyler Toffoli is tied for the team lead in goals with nine, while Jeff Carter and Drew Doughty have 11 assists apiece. Starting goalie Jonathan Quick has a 10-4-4 record with a solid .932 save percentage.
