The Chicago Blackhawks will be going on the road on Saturday night to take on the Edmonton Oilers, who will be playing in the final game of their five-game homestand.

During the 2013-14 season, the Blackhawks were able to sweep their three-game regular season series against the Oilers. They scored five goals in each other those wins, including a 5-1 blowout in Edmonton.

The Blackhawks won their second game in a row on Thursday night when they edged the Calgary Flames 4-3 on the road. They were led by All-Star Patrick Kane, who had a goal and an assist in the win.

Despite that loss, the Blackhawks still have one of the better defenses in the league and they have one of the best penalty kill percentages. Center Jonathan Toews has seven goals, nine assists and a plus/minus of +2 through 19 games, while Kane is tied with him for the team lead with 16 points. Goalie Corey Crawford is 8-4-1 this year with a shutout, a .926 save percentage and a 1.97 GAA.

Oilers center Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has a goal and nine assists in eight games against the Blackhawks, while left wing Taylor Hall has tallied 19 points in 13 games against them. Goaltender Ben Scrivens has only gone up against Chicago one time in his career, taking the loss but only giving up three goals on 40 shots in that game.
