On Sunday night, the Calgary Flames will go on the road to take on the struggling offense of the Winnipeg Jets. The Jets were able to beat the Flames in two of the three matchups between these teams last season.

The Flames were able to score two third period goals, but it wasn't enough as they fell to the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-2 on the road. Calgary scored twice on 31 shots and they were 0-for-4 on their power play chances.

Through six games, the Flames are near the bottom of the league in goals per game and penalty kill percentage. Their best offensive player has been defenseman TJ Brodie, who has two goals and four assists on the season. Goaltender Karri Ramo is 2-1-0 in his three starts this year and he has a .920 save percentage.

The Jets lost their third game in a row on Friday when they were shut out 2-0 by the Nashville Predators at home. They were 0-for-3 on their power plays and Predators' goalie Pekka Rinne stopped all 31 of their shots on goal.

The one player on the Jets who has played well on the offensive end is Bryan Little, who has three goals in four games. Netminder Ondrej Pavelec is 1-2-0 on the season and has a 2.22 GAA and a .919 save percentage.
