The high-scoring Calgary Flames will be facing the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night in a game between the top two teams from the Pacific Division. The Flames and the Ducks played each other for the first time this season last Tuesday, with the Flames coming away with a 4-3 shootout victory.

On Saturday night, the Flames won for the fourth time in their last five games when they defeated the New Jersey Devils 5-4 in the shootout. Their top player in that win was left wing Curtis Glencross, who had two goals.

The Flames have been able to score 3.1 goals per game so far this year, which is fifth-best in the NHL right now. Their top player has been defenseman Mark Giordano, who has six goals and 17 assists in 22 games this year. Netminder Jonas Hiller is now 9-5-1 with a 2.45 GAA and a .914 save percentage.

On Sunday night, the Ducks were able to win their second game in a row when they defeated the Arizona Coyotes 2-1 at home. Left wing Patrick Maroon was their top player in that win by providing Anaheim with a goal and an assist.

Through 22 games, the Ducks are in the top 10 in the league in goals against by only giving up 2.3 goals per game. Center Ryan Getzlaf has been their best all-around player by scoring six goals and assisting on 13 others. Goalie Frederik Andersen is 9-2-4 on the year with a shutout and a .921 save percentage.
