On Tuesday night, the Buffalo Sabres will try to improve upon their poor 4-9-0 road record when they visit the Winnipeg Jets.

These two teams played each other for the first time this season in late November, when the Jets were able to beat the Sabres 2-1 in Buffalo. The Sabres had a poor game in that one, finishing 0-for-4 on the power play and getting just 20 of their shots on goal.

Sabres goaltender Jhonas Enroth has played against the Jets four times in his career, going 0-3-1 with a .939 save percentage and a 2.02 GAA against them. Veteran winger Matt Moulson has 11 goals and 18 points in his 19 career games against Winnipeg, while center Tyler Ennis has accumulated three goals and two assists in 11 games against them.

On Saturday, the Jets lost their second consecutive game when they were blown out 4-1 by the Anaheim Ducks at home. The Jets did score one of their four power play chances, but they also allowed the Ducks to score two shorthanded goals.

Winnipeg's offense has struggled this season, but their defense and goaltending is only allowing 2.3 goals per game. Their top offensive performer has been left wing Andrew Ladd, who has 11 goals and a team-high 12 assists through 31 games. Netminder Ondrej Pavelec has a 9-8-4 record this year with one shutout and a .914 save percentage.
