The Bruins and Flyers meet up for the Sunday Showcase game on Hockey Afternoon in America. The Bruins are pulling away for home ice throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs but they would love to stay neck and neck with the St. Louis Blues for the President's Cup. The Flyers are comfortably in a playoff spot but shouldn't get too cozy with just 3 points separating 5 teams fighting for 3 spots.

The Bruins have had a magical year and it looks like they're just gearing up as the regular season comes to a close. In fact Boston might not want to see the month of March go as they've posted a sensational 12-1-1 record during that time. A shootout loss to Montreal on Monday broke a 12 game win streak but Boston looks to just start up another one. The schedule makers have made that tough though with 7 of the final 10 games on the road.

Philly has proved they know how to dig deep when the season depends on it. Prior to a two game losing streak to the Kings and Rangers, the Flyers had won 8 of 10 since returning from the Olympic break. Their most recent run was a 5 game win streak against Pittsburgh (2), Chicago, Dallas, and St. Louis, with three of the four being upper echelon teams in the NHL this season.

The Flyers got beat the last time they played Boston. On their own home ice, Philly allowed two goals each to Zdeno Chara and Jarome Iginia in a 6-1 beating. The Bruins were only -121 road favorites but it definitely wasn't the message the Flyers wanted to send as a potential playoff opponent. They'll try again Sunday.
