On Friday, the Boston Bruins will try to move their road record above .500 when they take on the Columbus Blue Jackets. During the 203-14 campaign, the Bruins were able to defeat the Blue Jackets in all three of their games against each other.

The Bruins won their second straight game on Tuesday night when they beat the St. Louis Blues 2-0 at home. In that shutout, the Goalie Tuukka Rask picked up his first shutout of the season by stopping all 33 of the shots that came his way.

Through their first 20 games, the Bruins are eighth in the NHL with a 21.6 percent power play percentage. Center Patrice Bergeron has been able to score five goals this season and he's assisted on eight others. Rask has won 10 of his 15 games this year and he owns a .915 save percentage.

On Tuesday, the Blue Jackets couldn't get their offense going and ended up being shut out 5-1 by the Detroit Red Wings. They were 0-for-3 on the power play in that loss and were outshot 40-28.

The Blue Jackets have had one of the worst defenses in the NHL so far this season by giving up 3.6 goals per game. Their top offensive performer has been center Ryan Johansen, who has six goals and 14 assists. Netminder Sergei Bobrovsky is 5-5-0 with a .911 save percentage and a 2.85 GAA through 10 starts.
