The Boston Bruins, who have lost two out of their last three games away from home, will go on the road on Monday night to face the Anaheim Ducks. Last season, the Bruins and the Ducks each picked up a win in their two-game regular season series.

Against the Winnipeg Jets on Friday, the Bruins snapped their two-game losing streak when they won 2-1 in overtime. Goalie Tuukka Rask had a great game in that win, stopping 35 of the 36 shots he faced.

Through 24 games, the Bruins are in the top half of the league in goals against by only giving up 2.4 goals per game. Rask now has an 11-6-1 record on the season with a 2.31 GAA and a .919 save percentage. Their top offensive player has been center Carl Soderberg, who has five goals and 12 assists so far this year.

On Saturday night, the Ducks gave up three first-period goals to the San Jose Sharks and ended up losing that game 6-4. They struggled on the power play in that game, going scoreless on all five of their chances with the extra man.

The Ducks have only allowed 2.5 goals per game this season, and their penalty kill has stopped 84.1 percent of opposing power plays. Right wing Corey Perry has a team-high 14 goals in just 20 games played, while center Ryan Getzlaf has seven goals and leads the team in assists with 15.
