The Arizona Coyotes will be going on the road on Friday night to take on the Vancouver Canucks, who have won their last two games.

During the 2013-14 season, the Coyotes were able to win three out of their five games against the Canucks. The series could have gone either way, as all five games were decided by one goal and three of the games went into overtime.

Coyotes goaltender Mike Smith has faced Vancouver 12 times in his career and is 6-3-2 against them with a 2.19 GAA and a .931 save percentage. Defenseman Keith Yandle has 11 points in his 27 games against the Canucks, while right wing Shane Doan has scored 15 goals against them in 66 games.

On Tuesday, the Canucks won their second consecutive overtime game by defeating the Ottawa Senators 4-3 in the extra period. They only won by one goal, but they finished the game with a 37-24 shooting advantage.

The Canucks are currently in the top 10 in scoring with three goals per game, but they have also given up 2.8 goals per game this season. Center Henrik Sedin, who scored the game-winner over the Senators on Tuesday, has five goals now and leads the team with 17 points. Goalie Ryan Miller has an 11-2-0 record in 13 starts with a shutout, a .910 save percentage and a 2.46 GAA.
