On Saturday, the Arizona Coyotes will have a tough time fixing their broken offense as they will have to take on the solid defense of the Los Angeles Kings. The Coyotes and the Kings have each picked up a win from their two games against each other this season.

The Coyotes finally snapped their long losing streak on Tuesday night by defeating the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 in overtime at home. Arizona was 0-for-4 on the power play in that win, but they did outshoot the Oilers 44-32 on the night.

Through their first 31 games this season, the Coyotes have had a solid power play, but their penalty kill is one of the worst in the league. Center Antoine Vermette has been the team's top point getter this season by notching eight goals and 13 assists. Goalie Mike Smith has won just five games in 22 starts this season and currently owns a low .889 save percentage.

On Thursday night, the Kings scored three third-period goals to come back and beat the St Louis Blues 6-4 at home. Center Anze Kopitar was one of their top stars in that game by scoring one goal and providing four assists.

So far this season, the Kings have scored 2.7 goals per game while only giving up 2.4 goals per game to their opponents. Goalie Jonathan Quick is now 13-8-5 on the year with three shutouts, a 2.30 GAA and a .924 save percentage.
